I go back and forth as I have never had a diesel. We are getting to the point where we need a new tow vehicle. We currently are towing with a 6.0 Yukon (love that motor btw) and we have a TT. We know that we are enventually going to move into a 5th wheel and will need a truck.
While I know gas motors can do the job, I don't want to worry about not having enough motor, I don't want to worry about taking off when it's 100 degrees towing and worrying about temps and if my wife wants to head to Colorado and Wyoming (which she does) I want to get in and go without worrying about the truck. Maybe I am nuts and over thinking it?
Just a little scary when it comes to price of the trucks and repairs (when/if they come up) but that's the price we pay for our RV lifestyle, I guess?
