Get whatever you want and feel most comfortable driving.
My RV is a DP, so automatic is pretty much the option. But I have owned a street vehicle with a manual since the day I got my license and I commute in DC traffic. Friends would ask how I could deal with that day after day, I never noticed. Instead I adapted my driving style.
I will say that a manual should be just as easy to manuver a trailer as an automatic, I have done it and many friends still do it without an issue. Some friends I have that prefer manual transmissions can easilly slip the clutch in 1st or reverse to move in either direction smoothly, no different then a automatic. I like it a bit more myself because you have full control where in an auto you have to wait for the torque converter to start locking up. They dont seem to complain either about traffic either in the trucks.
