You have to pay more attention to your driving. What gear to be in. You can not talk on a cell phone when taking off from a stop unless it is hands free. Cramped seating for the 3rd front seat passenger.
Things you do not have to consider. Transmission temperature, Transmission oil condition, you do not loose power steering or brakeing if the engine dies, it can be push started, it has a little back pressure braking (gas only), better fuel economy.
Get what you want they both do the job. I prefer the stick.
