Manual Transmission? Yea or Nay?
Still looking for the first truck in preparation for our first RV sometime next year and I've pretty much narrowed it down to an F2/350 with the V10. Not sure I want to roll the dice with a 6.0 Diese...

I love my manual transmissions.
If you are stuck on Ford buy the 2005+ model to get the better V-10 design. Also if you go with an auto the 2005 Fords will have the 5 speed auto. I don't think you will be happy at all with the 2004 or older V-10 with the 4 speed auto.
Oh yeah, you are wise to stay away from the Ford diesels. Buying gas for the V-10 will put you money ahead if you chose the diesel and they start giving you fits.
