Manual Transmission? Yea or Nay?
Still looking for the first truck in preparation for our first RV sometime next year and I've pretty much narrowed it down to an F2/350 with the V10. Not sure I want to roll the dice with a 6.0 Diese...

Automatics are much better...super cars are almost automatics with their paddle
shifters...yes gear shift is faster than I can, but hey, I'm not back out on the
track either
Have some acquaintances (not buddies or friends) that got lucky in the dot.com
era who have various exotics. They do NOT know HOW2 drive them.
One guy has a Mercedes Mclaren with paddle shifters...showing me how much faster
he can shift (scary to ride with this fool) and the paddle broke off during a
power shift. Idiot almost killed us both
Again, boils down to personal preferences. Add that today's kids don't learn
on a manual and some never touch a clutch.
Been in tough spots with a manual and say it is tougher in high density areas that
has steep hills...like SF, but I'd never tow a trailer out there...even with an
automatic
Mower...know exactly what you mean and here are a couple videos that might bring
back some memories...

AND...I'm in love with this gal and it doesn't hurt that she is VERY good looking !
And she is driving a stick shift TRUCK and understands overloading !!!!
