The truck motor was specifically designed to pull my boat up, and down big hills effortlessly? I would not have shucked out 15k without much research!
With a very long stroke, and many cubes, and fuel injection, the motor will not have a radical disposition. It will not be tame either. The cam was specifically fabricated by Competition Cams to pull weight. All paticulars were given to them for design by request.
I have towed vehicals all over this country almost.
A hellcat is obviously not suited to pull; it is a hp motor - high rev, but it will pull - It doesn't have the suspension. My transmission, and rear were specifically designed for tow applications.
This thread is not about the tow vehicle but about a perspective humble abode.
The reason I mentioned the power was to assure everyone I had enough.
I am leaning towards smaller,newer, but not brand new so tow capacity is moot.
