matress is terrible
The mattress that came with my trailer is the worst. Can it be replaced by an ordinary queen matress sold in stores?

You can buy a standard length foam mattress with a memory foam layer on top and just cut it to length with a sharp knife or carving knife. If you do this, you could consider extending the OSB or plywood the mattress sits on a couple of inches or so to make a longer mattress. An inch or two or three longer would make a big difference.
