I ended up just out-and-out replacing our mattress with a short queen firm memory foam mattress off of Amazon. The problem with a topper is that it doesn't solve the underlying support issue that the thin, unsupportive base foam RV mattress has, so it still bottoms out. There are plenty of high quality memory foam mattresses available nowadays for reasonable cost... I like the Zinus brand that Amazon sells.
X2 - We tried toppers and found the best thing to do was replace the whole mattress with an Amazon Memory foam mattress and trim it to fit. It sleeps so much better.
