mattress topper?

We bought a 3"topper from amazon and after the first winter storage it developed a split across the middle of the topper. I sorta repaired for the next season try to buy some time before I bought another, but found a local mattress manufacturer in town and they made a custom full firm foam with topper for $375. A little expensive but it's lighter than the spring and 3"topper and sooooo comfortable. Good luck.
