In the motorhome business tires are load rated. Mine, 22.5" are rated for 120psi. In load rated tires, the max psi is the pressure for a maximum weight. Michelin publishes a chart to adjust pressure based on the axle weight. Same pressure for all tires on that axle. I run 110 in the front and 105 in the rear. So if you have ST or LT that are load rated, you can safely run lower pressure based on the weight carried. Course that means a trip to the scales to verify weights.
