How can I identify a Max Tow F150 by decoding the VIN? I'll be replacing my 2012 F150 with a newer one in the next 6 months or so. I'd like the heavier duty package when I do. But how does Ford ide...

I guess my question is what good is a maxtow without them?
I suppose some people tow a car hauler or a boat/narrow Cargo trailer and don't need the big mirrors.
The 2018 Ram 2500 I rented from Enterprise didn't have the tow mirrors either, and I must say that was disappointing.
