I'm not going to say you are wrong or what ratings your HDPP truck has, but I will tell you the ratings on my 2018, XLT, 3.5 EB, 4X4, 6.5ft bed truck has.
The hitch on my truck is rated for the maximum allowed rating, even if the towing capacity may be lower. Your HDPP hitch may be different.
Hitch: 13,200lbs max tow ratings
Hitch: 1,320lbs WDH ratings.
GVWR: 7850 lbs
FRT GAWR: 3750 lbs
RR GAWR: 4800 lbs
Payload: 2,472 lbs
Those numbers came from the stickers on the driver's door of my truck...not dealer brochures.
I'm not sure how you can separate the Max Tow towing characteristics from the characteristics of the HDPP trucks, when the HDPP trucks automatically contains everything the Max Tow has.
