Really???????
If you got some facts that says otherwise post it for everyone to see. :W
Ok
RAM has claimed 30,000 towing along with other stats and many said it was not possible. Well RAM stepped up and they passed the SAE J807 tests for the 13/14 MY RAM 3500 Dually to be specific. They claim it's for the 15 MY but we all know the 13,14 and 15's are exactly the same for the RAM.
So I want an honest "no spin" answer from you. Will the same 13/14 configuration Ford with basically the same platform they had since 1999 pass the SAE test with all of Fords claims???????
Your claims are nothing earthshattering new.
The '13 are not the same platform as the '14... The 2500 still had the 5 link front suspension and leaf springs in the rear.
Will the 13/14 Ford's pass the SAE standards? I really don't know. Having said that, I'm not up to speed on the standard and how the trucks are measured/tested to validate meeting specifications and if there's any loop holes with the standard. What I do know is these new Fords (GM and RAM as well)are some really strong performers and with the larger turbo's will perform even stronger at the higher altitudes.
Tighten your seatbelt there will be more testing and documents out soon on the performance of these new trucks. :W And I LMAO ever time a Ford spanks their competition it's the Dodge boys crying foul. LMFAO... :B
