Sorry to hear about your incident, but thanks for sharing it (and glad to hear it ended well). I have an F250 diesel, and used your story to talk to my wife and son, both of whom drive it but have never put fuel in it. I'm much more worried about them filling it with gas than about having a DEF incident, but hopefully hearing your story will make them be more careful. I also called my insurance just to check, and it appears I'm covered as well without an additional rider.
