From experience, I know that Ford's worthless water separator will hold just under 8 ounces of water before it turns on the "no warranty" light...The real problem though is the Bosch CP4.xx series pumps tolerate no emulsified water either...coupled with a design that has minimal at best capacity to survive on US standards diesel fuel only exacerbates the problem...
...all manufactures except Ford realize the issue and fix these failures under warranty....
