It's not the water that is the problem. It's the urea, which mixes in the diesel and passes through the filter. And for those worried about the warranty, none of this is warranty issues. Jim will attest to that and made no claim whatsoever to that. While all of this does complicate things, we can't have the power these trucks are capable of with the reduced NVH the industry has given us without technology. Technology makes some things complicated. I certainly stepped into a different league moving from a 97 12 valve to a 13 6.7 CTD. Time will tell if it proves to be as easy to work on and reliable as Old Red, but for now, I am loving this truck.
