Going to look at this rig for our DRV and wondering for you that have them or know a lot about them some information. Came up on this one with 35k miles and they asking $59,000. Seems pricey but...

Went to drive it a few minutes ago and what a nice ride! And that was empty. Probably would have to change the brake controller to work electric over hydraulic brakes...
My impressions:
Had more windnoise but not too bad.
Fan output for HVAC system could be stronger. It had auxilliary heat/air controls for the rear. Nice!
Saw oil on right rear axle but looks like vent tube fox axle
Tires were replaced in 2008-weather cracked
Handling good-torque seemed about equal to current 6.7. No race horse but pulls hard (like a motorhome)
Hitch adjustment under rear seat-fold down electric rear seat.
Cat loud outside but quiet inside.
I'm going to have to learn more about the Hensley hitch.
Air hook-up under rear seat.
Heat did not work but I think the cables/valves at firewall may need attention.
Air ride seats are the bomb!
There was a switch with a lockout for something to do with the air suspension not sure what it did, though. More research needed.
How aggressive is the "retard" of engine feature when empty...did not seem to make a big deal when slowing.....was expecting more of an engine brake.
Need to see what they offer on my f450 against this to see if a trade is possible....have about 50k on f450 now and not putting a lot on now. I did over 40k my first year and 8k my second.
Not sure of fuel tank capacity-either 50 or 75 each....
Could not find torque rating of engine anywhere
Need to find info on the 32k Hensley air hitch....more research needed
