medium duty engine/tranny thread closed

Below is a statement made by FishOnOne that wasn't true: I know this is "off topic, BUT I was accused of something I never did..Tried to PM poster, but am blocked by him and wanted to ask accuser where is his evidence?

I was not allowed to address a statement made by FishOnOne yesterday about me on a thread that was closed....Cummins 12V98 replied to a post of mine and FishOnOne made a statement about me that I actually tried to send him a PM to ask him anywhere that "I" had ever badmouthed Americans.

I didn't have a chance to defend myself...I joined the military to serve my country because I love my country and Americans...fought in a war to protect what we believe in. I'm as patriotic as they come.. To say I "badmouthed Americans" is not the truth...I would like to know when and and where I did this? Now I will have to apologize to my Canadian friends because I DID hold animosity towards Canada for harboring Draft Dodgers back in the 60's and early 70's...but almost over that,

Even tried to PM FishOnOne and apologize for everything I've said to him that has caused so much animosity between us, but I'm having to go public to address this issue. I'm man enough to apologize for past remarks..but to be accused of something I've not done, just felt it HAD to be addressed.

I assure all of you I'm not unstable..This stinking stroke I had almost 10 months ago has been a life changer and has also affected my emotions, as doctors have said it would...I can't help it...so anyone I've offended with sharp answers or just getting mad..believe me I'm really trying to control it.

Life is short...Enough problems in life without arguing and getting mad at others over brands of trucks one tows with, what tires one uses on their TT, 5er or TH, or what brand RV you have...and I get caught up in it, and I gotta stop

Mod's, Sorry for off topic, but I HAD to address this accusation made toward me that wasn't true, and when thread was closed, I had no way to address this un truth against my integrity...I apologize to any of you that have had to "modify" any of my post.

Unless fish has banned me too the he will read this. NC, bud I know it's hard with what you are going through but don't sweat the small stuff. You of anyone with what's happened to you in the last year should know that there is a lot more to worry about than what's said on a forum.

We love ya bud so move on.

Relax, Ford Truck Guy has a nicer ring to it than say, Japanese Truck Guy. :)

I'm like you, I like all brands and don't care what someone else drives.
But, it is fun to bust on each other sometimes. Just so it doesn't get nasty and personal, which unfortunately, is how some look at the forum.

NC, First of all, thanks for your service, and I hope your health is well.

As you can see, I've been a member here about a year longer than you, and though I don't post a lot, I read a lot. I can't recall you ever badmouthing America, or Americans.

As for the brand wars, I read em for the most part, but rarely post in them. occasionally, but not often. My reason is that I try to adhere to a policy of not bashing any brand, and certainly not bashing someone specifically for their brand choice. This has served me well. If I can give information, or opinion, I will. I do wish the debates could be more constructive, and civil. I think it would serve us all better.

Now excuse me while I put my flamethrower suit on. ;)

Like I told you in the closed thread, don't take any of these posts personally. Very few of the posts are meant as individual attacks (there are exceptions) - Without the face to face feedback, satire and humor can appear cruel or bullying.

^^^Thanks buddy....I really didn't want people to think that I "badmouth" Americans....All who know me would never believe it...I have more integrity and honor for my country than to ever do that.

Don't sweat the small stuff... You have more important things to worry about ... These truck threads get out of control , and I try to stay away as much as I can...

I like trucks... ALL BRANDS... I cannot afford to get wrapped up in the stress SOME FOLKS LIKE TO PUT ON.

Get out and go camping.. ENJOY.. and STAY HEALTHY ...

Thanks Marty, I just HAD to reply to the statement FishOnOne made about me saying something that I didn't say..If I bad mouthed Americans, I sure don't remember doing that, maybe some, but Americans as a whole? America?..Until one has lived in a few other counties, been away from home and family for a couple years or longer, maybe served in the military, maybe even fought in a war..you find that the best country to live in, no matter how bad some think it is, IS the United States of America, in my own personal opinion and I would give my life for my country and our people...Americans to keep it free
