I like this idea and think it is a great way to better unite the TC community, helping each other is what it's all about.
Not to mention a network of safe sites / places to spend the night can only improve our traveling experiences. Especially if we have some sort of emergency Heaven forbid.
As a benefit we will have the pleasure of meeting the wonderful people here on the site.
I am a little old fashioned too. I like the idea of a network with a list of locations. When planning a trip one could search the route for our network PM the individuals en'route and wait for invitations or possibly even phone numbers via PM or e-mail for support network. Maybe meet somewhere close to the location so addresses never get in the wrong hands.
Just imagine if we all participate we would have a network stretching coast to coast something we could all benefit from.
Please sign me up, MD I am about 10 miles off I-95 and the VA line. I could provide an extension cord 120V? Water and a fairly level place to park / street parking.
