Probably a foolish question on my part. It would be crazy not to have an umbrella policy with a clause stating that you can accomodate unknown guests to reside on your property with your consent. A relative of mine being an inurance agent led me to believe that a standard home owners policy would not cover that application and you would leave yourself wide open for litigation in case something happened.
