I have Cooper 245/70/19.5 tires for 7.5 years.
When I bought them the tire guy said they would last 10 years.
So I looked on Cooper's website and they had a page about LT tires lasting 10 years.
Sent them an email and they recommended 6 years for RV tires.
It would be sad if 19.5 commercial tire would not outlast LT tires
It depends on how the tires are used. Obviously, tires that are near their load limit continuously have more stress on them than those that are not.
I've also heard the 6 year number for RVs. As noted, it's worth it to me to replace the tires early, but I also don't go cheap on tires either. So, I'm probably "wasting" money on those better tires, too. :D
