Michelin XDS2 vs Toyo M608Z

I've had them. Like Marty notes, they are very similar to the M55 tires. The carcass is stiffer however, so you can't airdown like you can in the M55s. If you are underloaded, they will wear down the center pretty quick. They can be squirley on pavement when new but settle down after ~1,000 miles, but drifting a roll-back is more fun than you'd think ;P

I haven't tried the XDS.

BTW - the 608s easily last more than double the life of the "Double Coin" tires Les Schwab's sells as a low-cost alternative.
