One thing I have noticed while researching gas 1 Ton trucks is that some of the manufactures have two different tow ratings. For instance, on the Chevy truck site they list conventional trailering and fifth wheel trailering. The Chevy 6.0 with 4.10 gear is rated to tow 13,000lbs conventional trailering and 14,000lbs fifth wheel trailering. Ford does the same thing but I don't see where RAM does this. RAM simply lists maximum towing.
