We have a Yellow Minnie Winnie 2201DS. We traded in our Crossroads Z-1 after only one season after we started looking at the new Winnebago lines for my cousins. Holding tank size...same as our Z-1 so we are used to the sizes. Wasted space in the bathroom??? that's what sold DW on the trailer (beside the quality). When we go camping, we live outside so the outdoor kitchen is great and well used and the 19 ft awning is unbelievable. It is a great camper for two people and I would not hesitate to buy another one in a minute.
Thanks for the response. I have a feeling we will share your opinion after we look at it. We're off to see it tomorrow, and pulling out Sunline along for a trade-in evaluation. If we like the trailer, it will probably just be a matter of seeing if we can negotiate a good deal. As I may have said earlier, we were looking at some Jayco units, but Jayco is really going cheap in terms of equipping awnings that are several feet shorter than they have to be. I think Jayco would have put a 15 or 16 foot awning on the 2201DS, and too many of their units are using step in tubs rather than the corner shower. But...everyone has their own preferences when it comes to RVs, so it's a good thing that there are lots of manufacturers and choices!
