So, we took a look at the Winnie 2201DS and.......WE BOUGHT IT! I found the Winnebago to be quite well built and the fit and finish was a lot better than a lot of the trailers we looked at. We added a slide topper, power jack and decided to go with a new Equalizer hitch. The bad news is that we discovered some water damage on the slide of our Sunline, so the trade in value wasn't what I hoped for, but that's life. So, sometime next week, we head back down the road to do all the fun stuff and pick it up. Due to a family wedding, we won't be able to take it out for a couple of weeks....so we'll really be anxious to take it on it's maiden voyage!
Thanks for the responses and input! I'll be sure to do a little review later after we've had a chance to see what we really like about it....and what quirks we discover that are less pleasing. But, I can say that I really like the white trailer and the sparse use of graphics on the exterior as it makes it a very clean looking unit. I think we'll really like having the outdoor galley.
Goodbye to our trusty Sunline. It was a great trailer and served us very well. And someone that can do some work on the slide can get it for a bargain and get quite a few more years out of it.
