All these rules about tipping - not sure where they come from... I have a friend who tips the garbage man (men). He feels they deserve it, and let me tell you, he is well taken care of - you know how things can be left for you on garbage day. Anyway, if you feel like tipping, I say go for it. you will likely be goven favored or priority service in the future. Tips don't need to be monetary - cool drinks as mentioned are great. I always make sure the AC guy havs somethng cool to drink during service calls.
