You may want to verify that information. Fords website lists the F350 between 13000 and 13900 while the F450 is 14000 Lbs.
I think the problem is that the F450 only has a slight increase in gross vehicle weight capacity, yet the F450 weighs more than the F350 so the gain in GVWR is offset by increased truck weight and thus less carrying capacity.
