Try and rent a car in a lot of small towns ,not any because the GM recalls have used them all up
Since when do you get a rental for a recall? Keep trolling!
The wife got a free rental car when her Chevy Traverse was in for a warranty repair that was going to take a couple days due to a part that needed to be ordered. She bought the extended warranty and GM pays for a rental car for covered repairs. GM supplies an authorization code to the rental place and they bill GM.
And had she not paid for the coverage, she would have been paying for a rental, unless the dealer would provide one. My dealer does, but it is the dealership not GM footing the bill if you do not buy the extended warranty.
