More GM recalls.

Probably didn't want to announce a 20+ million vehicle recall in one shot :) Bad news is often easier to swallow in small(er) doses.

I would much rather go the dealer for a free fix than have something fail when I'm on the road.

Nothing new

A door and key chime? Thats tragic.

Because of what happened they have formed a new group within GM to ferret out issues and get them resolved ASAP. That coupled with the fact that the government has appointed a nanny to audit and keep an eye on them for a while is going to increase the number of recalls until they get a handle on their QC.

These recalls are a good thing. They are finding things and fixing them before they become only TSBs, and in turn customer irritations. Makes you wonder what other manufacturers are burying as TSBs.
