More TC's in the past?

I don't understand why more people don't have TC now. I have mine specifically so I can pull my boat with me to the lake. You would think that a lot of people camping at the lake would have the same problem and thus you would see a lot of TCs. Nope. I rarely ever see any other TCs no matter what lake I'm camped at. I've talked to many people who tell me they either make two trips with their tow vehicle or the husband and wife both drive a vehicle, one pulling the RV, one pulling the boat.
It sure seems like a TC would be a better option but I guess people just don't see it that way anymore.
