I love that type of camping. In the past I've been camping (tent) and had snowmobilers ride past (on their way to cabins) wondering how I got to where I was. Just hoofing it with snowshoes and a backpack. Definitely interesting how different people decide to camp, when and where. I typically spend at least a few days making a hike-in snow camp. My wife would have none of it, never, no way.
I like the idea of 4-low, locker/limited slip, compliant suspension for an hour or two and then fishing for native trout with a fly, all the while knowing I've got a camper and fire ring for when the sun goes down.
