Motherhood, Apple Pie, and Campfires

I too hate the smell, and the itchy eyes, and burning throat of campfire. BUT....my DW is a fire bug when it comes to fires. Here is Linda trying to make fires in the rain, at Yellowstone, when the temp was in the 60's, so no need for the warmth. Yes, we do go round and round on this subject, as I have camped for over 60 yrs, and not really needed to make a fire when propane, and yes, an old white gas stove are available. I don't even make BBQ's very often, and when I do, make a propane one.
