Well, after considering everyones advice I got a back up camera. I got it all set up and then I had help ;) so he directed me while I looked at the camera so I would know what I was looking for. I still dont want to do that very often!! The hitch extension works great, but then the chains were too short. Stopped at an RV place and got a set of chains and a hoodgy that links things together. Now I can turn in tight circles if I have too without bashing anything. Here is the RVan and Shasta.
