Definitely "higher end"- my dream lightweight trailer.
Per molded fiberglass :
Escape's "higher end" reputation is based mostly on its willingness to more or less custom finish the interiors. You would not BELIEVE the teeny tiny things folks ask for/change during the process. And they get them, too! Naturally, that comes at a price...$30,000 for the finished 21, for example, appears average.
Side note:
Escapes are made in Canada, so if "Made in the U.S.A." is important to you there are at least four in active production: Casita, Scamp, Parkliner, and Lil' Snoozy. Oliver is evidently restarting production, too- but you might as well buy an Airstream at their prices!
