Moving from a TC to a small compact TT

I'll throw another wrench into this discussion: you need to go and sit inside a variety of these various travel trailers, and determine whether you want a slide out or not. Personally, I would not own one without a slide room. It make a huge difference in the "liveability" of the trailer for me. To other people, it means nothing, and they want no part of a slideout.
If you you decide it's a feature you want, then you just ruled out a lot of the suggestions for brands and types that have been mentioned.
