I see your point about the versatility of the truckcamper, Geewizard- they can't be beat if your tug's a truck anyway.
As a side note, though: my favorite present combo is a fourteen foot Trillium towed by my old Kia Sportage- whole thing is less than thirty feet long from stem to stern. It's maneuverable as heck...the mid-ship articulation has gotten me into/out of some really tight places. One of the reasons I hang out here in the TC forums is that I can go just about anywhere you guys can, only in my case it's because I'm small.
Point is, there's more than one way to get out in the boonies, depending on the tug.
