After owning a few Dodges over the years, and a 94 1500 Chevy for over 200,000 miles, I'm leaning more towards the new Silverado; I especially like the High Country edition (mainly bling, but very nice bling). Haven't checked the new Ram 1500 yet, but have heard good things about it. The F150 is also a nice truck, but you see the same truck at every stoplight, though Fords also rule at campgrounds by a wide margin.
The one thing I don't like is the twin plug heads Ram and Ford are using for their engines; though incorporating new technology, GM engines are still relatively old school push rod, and dead reliable. Plus, you can almost crawl into the engine bay and take a nap with all the room; can't say that in a Ford.
Might also be looking at an Airstream 27', so a mid-level V8 would be a nice compromise.
You will be amazed when you test drive a 2014 Silverado!
