Goodyear *Move the vehicle at least every three months to prevent ozone cracking in the tire bulge area, as well as “flat-spotting” from the prolonged strain of sidewall and tread deflection.*
I have a 12k stubby hyd jack that I lift one end of the axle and rotate the tire maybe 45 degrees a couple times a winter. Takes all of 4 min. My rv is stored for 5-6 months a year and sits on treated wood on a gravel pad.
I use LT or P tires on all of my trailers and expect 7-10 years/50k-55k miles of service so I try and follow what the tire makers and tire engineers recommendations.
What does your tire maker say about extended winter storage ??
