I have a 2017 F350 with the 6.7L and the 48 gallon tank and love it with maybe only one exception. In California with diesel pushing $3/gal, you can't fill up with only one purchase at most pumps/stations. Typically you are limited to $100 per card swipe at the pump. Arggggg! This means that you have to make two purchases to fill up. You have to enter your pin twice, say "no" to a car wash twice, and answer twice if you want a receipt or not.
I guess I shouldn't whine. When I jump back in the truck, the mileage left gauge typically shows I have 530+ miles to empty. Waaaaaaa :-)
