I just got a wind deflector this spring. I went from getting an average of 6.8mpg to and average of 8.3mpg. yes I have verified this on 3 trips so far. my frontal area didn`t change, but I did change how the air hits the front of the trailer! instead of slamming into the front of the trailer it now gets pushed up and over the front of the trailer. this is verified by the lack of bugs on the front of the trailer. BTW my trailer is 11.5 feet tall.
