They all can have drive line launch shudder. The drive line vibe was at 45~mph and again at 65~mph give or take a few. The local dealership did all they could with my '03. They even sent me to a drive line shop in Clearwater to have a new balanced drive shaft installed. Chrysler corporate finally said there's nothing they could do. So I traded it for the '05 Hemi powered 2500HD Ram. The Hemi was a fantastic engine with plenty of power to tow our 10,400 lb 5th wheel around the southeast. I forget how many miles were on it when the drive line vibe crept in. So, it's not the Cummins engine as some have said as far as the dreaded drive line vibe goes or 4X4's only. I still think it was the pinion in the AAM rear end but it's no longer my concern. The F250 has no vibes and no drone. Less power with 5.4L but we still set cruise on 65mph and let it eat.
