I am not arguing that in this test the Ford was quieter. It was. But it isn't fair to compare the noise level of your 2003 5.9 vs a 2016 6.7. It isn't that you are comparing apples and oranges. You are comparing apples and orangoutangs.

The interior noise in a RAM is no where near the level of a shop vac. Unless you are running a shop vac in the back seat.
