MPG and RPM Question for Chevy truck-New RVers

6.0s will drink gas like any other truck. I do t see how you can get 6mpg going 63-65mph though. Unless maybe it's a massive head wind uphill.
Did the truck feel like it was struggling? I'd expect 8mpg maybe 9.
