I keep detailed records of fuel use on all my vehicles. As for different stations, never looked to compare that and don't have any way to go back and look since I don't track what brand station I filled at.
what I've found is that winter blend in combo with winter conditions reduces mileage. Now winter blend usually has a lower BTU/gallon value.
As for Bio, the difference I've seen between 0, 5% and 20% bio is in the noise. unlike ethanol, biodiesel has a BTU/gallon very close to #2 and has very high lubricity and higher cetane rating.
so, at least my experience is that if you looked my anal log of fillups there is no way you could pick out which was 20% bio vs 5% or even 0. Don't run much 0% bio since oregon mandates 5% bio, but 20% is readily available and since 20% bio is exempt from state fuel tax it usually saves $0.25/gallon.
So for me 20% bio ends up costing less/mile and adds lubricity.
