I am a former senior purchasing analyst, looking at data and breaking it down is actually stuff I like to do. Not every on is the same and there is probably stuff you do that others think is stupid so don't hate.
Crunch all the numbers you want. Unless you can guarantee that all the other variables that affect mileage are held constant, concluding the differences (which are minuscule at that) are the results of the brand of fuel is simply flawed.
I am not guaranteeing anything. I am just sharing info about what I have seen in my fuel records and asking if anyone else noticed the same out of curiosity. It is not like I am telling people what fuel or truck brand to buy.
If you just DRIVE and don't sweat such little stuff then why even post? Apparently you care enough about it to post. Usually I just hit the back button and don't even bother posting on things I don't care about.
