How long have these been around. The OEM's are scratching their heads trying to get more power and more mpg but none have adopted this.
With turbos and direct injection the 'swirling the air argument' sure doesnt seem obvious. I used to think carb or port injected engines could possibly benifit but these claims about the effect on these diesels. Sure have me scratching my head.
Doesn't the turbo swirl the air enough. At least one installation shows them putting it in between the air filter and the turbo.
