Guess it was inevitable for these things to come back... :R
They did have a basis in application with manifold fueled.
The Vortex and Bernoulli affect does have some real benefits with
manifold fueled. The droplets do bet vaporized 'better' or 'more'
in the manifold with those two affects...as does just lengthening the
manifold runners
But with direct injection, there is no fuel in the manifold to vaporize
Just noodle this: the cross section of these things SUBTRACTS from
the cross section area of the manifold run. Plus the 'swirl' (Vortex)
interrupts air flow...something you do NOT want to do on an intake
manifold...anyone know what flow matching and polishing intake manifolds
do for the performance of any ICE?
Yes, the Bernoulli affect does change the pressure, but that is
mainly a good thing for venturi fueled systems (carbs...NOT TBI, nor
port, nor direct)
Wished I thought of selling these again on direct injection gassers
Those brothers will become millionaires very soon...if not already
