muffler tape
Anyone know how muffler/tailpipe tape holds up? A new tail pipe for my 06 Dodge cummins is around $200+. The pipe has rusted out on the top where it goes up-over the rear axle. Thanks

I agree with everyone else about doing it right. I have used it but only as a stop gap and sometimes it actually stayed put for a while,that's why I used it more than once, but bottom line is it is going to fail.The rust will win.
