The 8.1/ Allison doesn't exist in a 2500 CC. They are like a mythical unicorn, only something to dream about. Believe me I have looked EVERYWHERE!
On a serious note, if I would to ever switch to the blue oval that would be the only truck I'd consider.
But man...if I could find a clean, low mileage 2500HD CC 4x4 with the 8.1, I'd buy it on the spot.
Bet you're right, mine was a short bed extended cab...sorry about that....Didn't realize that it wasn't offered in a CC...
