How well did they stand behind them at 1, 2, 3, 4 and such years. Seems the aftermarket guys had more knowledge about fixing them than Ford did from what I have read.

From what I have seen they did try to solve the problems. They fixed mine at 98K. I think their biggest problems in the early years was lack of tech training and therefore throwing parts at a problem. There are a lot of 6.0's running everyday and you don't hear of near as many problems now. Ford created their problem with this engine trying to be the on top with the HP race.
